Water microfiltration

Microfiltration is a technique to physically separate elements. It uses filter membranes with pore diameters between 0.1 and 10 micrometres (microns). Microfiltering water removes suspended matter, microalgae and bacteria found in water but also minerals, mycobacteria, protozoa and fungi.

Water microfiltration

Microfiltration is based on membrane filters with porosities between 0.1 and 10µm. Two types of membrane are currently used: pleated membranes or tubular membranes.

AQUATOOLS uses an innovative technology - tubular membrane microfiltration.
