Surface treatment.
What if you could...
- Reduce microbial contamination by measures providing immediate response
- Detect early the degradation of water quality
- Identify the origins of microbial contamination (industrial water, demineralized water)
- Optimize biocide treatments by controlling their efficiency and improving treatment strategies
- Preview and avoid quality problems linked to bad deposit of paints
- Reduce water quality consumption
... all with one tool?
Now you can! For surveillance of microbial developments in surface treatments baths, LuminUltra™ supplies two product ranges: Quench-gone™ and Total Control™, a rapid and accurate test kits for measuring microorganism concentration and biomass health in all locations. Tests are based on the measurement of ATP (Adenosine Triphosphate) - the energy source of all living cells. ATP measurement is the best indicator of the concentration of living microorganisms.
Quench-Gone and Total Control
LuminUltra™ products provide an excellent alternative to current monitoring practices! ATP is specific to the microorganisms, and therefore provides a superior means for control of industrial processes - demineralized water, industrial water, degreasing baths, rinsing baths, cataphoresis eg. With only one measurement whatever the samples, tests provide information on:
- cATPTM: Biomass concentration
- BSITM: Biomass health
Use of Quench-Gone and Total Control
LuminUltra™ tests are the first line of defense against degradation of microbial quality of water in the different surface treatment and cataphoresis baths. These tools allow early detection of drifts and the improvement of biocide treatment strategies for higher efficiency. The improvement of microbial stability of the process allows the reduction of quality problems linked to bad deposit of paints and economy of water, thus by more efficient surveillance of its quality. Use of Quench-Gone and Total Control kits in surface treatment mean:
- Measurement in real time of microbial concentration in water and immediate response on the level of contamination in degreasing baths, rinsing baths, cataphoresis etc.
- Early detection of the degradation of water quality and localization of risk zones with high microbial proliferation
- Quantification of real total flora in water: cultivable and non cultivable microorganisms, both responsible for the degradation of water quality and the degradation of the surface treatment and the cataphoresis painting quality.
- Identification of the origins of the contamination ( industrial water, demineralized water)
- Optimization of controls: decrease of culture tests requiring a long delay for response
- Optimization of treatments:
- Control of efficiency of treatments implemented on the installation
- Correction of treatment strategies if necessary
- Immediate validation of new treatments
- Economy of water: follow up of the degradation of water quality for monitoring flushings
- Economy of biocides: reduction of biocide doses if possible and reduction of cost for treatment.
Why Choose LuminUltra?
Quench-Gone and Total Control tests provide the following advantages:
Easy: Quench-Gone and Total Control test kit are easily used by any operator or technician and does not require special sampling techniques. Results are easy to interpret and the equipment is entirely portable!
Fast: A single Total Control test takes under 10 minutes to complete on-site! Having immediate feedback facilitates reliable operation and maintenance on a daily basis. Plus, suspect results can be repeated on the spot!
Economical: By comparison with other microbiological analyses, Quench-Gone and Total Control is very economical with a high value per unit cost! Plus, by incorporating the results of Quench-Gone and Total Control analyses, a significant return on investment can be achieved through superior process control!
Flexible: With a wide range of detection capability, Quench-Gone and Total Control tests can analyze any water sample from surface treatments and cataphoresis baths. Use Quench-Gone and Total Control for measurement of biomass in degreasing , rinsing baths, cataphoresis, industrial water and demineralized water.
