Uncontrolled microbial proliferation may cause many hazards for human health, industrial productivity and machinery engineering.
Environment with pollutants might reduce the capacity of microorganisms to treat organic contaminants.
Present in any domain where active microorganisms quantification is necessary, Aqua-tools offers adapted solutions to know precisely the microbiological population.
Control your carbon footprint, optimize your operation costs
Helping you to manage risks and reduce operational costs is our ambition!

Drinking water
Microbiological quality of drinking water is prone to turn sour during its travel within the supply network. This deterioration is mainly due to detachment of bacteria in biofilm developed on the internal surface of canalizations.
The QGA™ toolkit gives you the opportunity to measure in a few minutes the quantity of biomass. This reactivity allows a better network management and reduced health hazards.
Process water
The QGA™ toolkit allows a precise monitoring of biomass evolution in cooling towers which can turn to become a Legionella growth bioreactor. Biofilm evolution (ecosystem where 99% bacteria are developing) can also be measured with the DSA™ kit.
Sanitary water
Sanitary water supply networks in hospital and public buildings are particularly sensitive to uncontrolled microbial proliferation. A quick and easy measurement of biomass evolution is possible through a mapping of a network using the QGA™ toolkit.
Fuels and biofuels
High bacterial or fungi population in fuel inevitably leads to changes in fuel properties, filters clogging and corrosion. The QGO-M Fuel™ test kit gives the possibility to measure the presence of microorganisms in any kind of fuel (fuel, biofuels, gasoline, jet kerosene, …).
Wastewater treatment plant
When a big part of sanitation is biological, current management tools are based on physical and chemical parameter measurement. The QG21-W™ kit gives a precise indication of the biomass population, health (BSI) and respiration (ABR) in the aerial tank. It gives a perfect tool for an optimal pilot of a WWTP with energy savings, early detection of flock bulking, influent qualification…
Surface treatment
Bacterial proliferation in surface treatment applications (or cataphoresis) can quickly cause waste of money. A system mapping performed with the QG21-I™ toolkit allows to define quickly the hot points and optimize the biocide treatment.
Paper industry
The QG21-I™ kit allows determination of microbiological population in slurries which are causing damages on paper quality.
Metal working fluids
Some bacteria in the metal working fluids cause allergies and cutaneous reactions to the operators. Moreover, biomass proliferation may lead to metal corrosion. The QGO-M MWF™ allows a monitoring of all microbes, pathogenic or not.
