How and Where is this product used?

Total Control for Microbial Growth Control (TCM™) products are designed for high-solids water applications with moderate biomass concentrations. TCM can be used to obtain information on biomass concentration and health in systems such as:

  1. Cooling Water
  2. Papermaking
  3. Wastewater Streams
  1. Surface Water
  2. Wastewater Disinfection

What do the results mean?

ATP is a critical component to all life on Earth. TCM products measure Total and Extracellular ATP separately to gain direct knowledge of biomass energy (cATPT) and health (BSIT). Use these results to assess and improve biocide dosing programs.

Detection Range

TCM test kits are optimized to detect between 5x104 and 1.3x109 Microbial Equivalents (i.e. fg ATP/mL) and Biomass Stress Levels between 0 to 100 % using standard procedures. Note that for some applications, only the measurement of Total ATP (tATP™) will be required.
